A true ghost - Leucistic Barn Owl









This leucistic Barn Owl was a real stunner, I happened across this bird whilst on my way to the coast yesterday morning.

  4. What kind of tyto is it?Were did you take the shots?If you get any feathers off of it you could take them to be tested for DNA.They could show the type of this "Ghost tyto",and mabe its albino!

  10. I saw one yesterday, strangely enough it was sat on a fence just like that photo, think it was somewhere between Beverly and York, not sure of exact place

  11. I have seen a white owl every morning this week. Quite a big bird, swooping over woodland and open ground. I live in North Somerset, so I think this is a rare owl or perhaps one that has escaped from a sanctuary.

  12. Pewsey down Saturday 26th June 21...we were off piste..stopped at this derilicked barn at it flew out...there was a box high up in the barn
