Upland Birds





As the breeding season comes to an end, this upland site has become
a very quiet place, well at least until the 12th when all hell will break
loose; if only grouse had the right to bear arms : )

Here are a selection of shots from this particular site, all the species here
were photographed within a 3 mile radius and in the 2 years I have been
visiting this site I have never seen another photographer which is quite strange
really, though not that I'm complaining.

After trying for over an hour to lable each shot and failing miserably here's the list from the top.

Common Sandpiper, Oystercatcher, Curlew, Common Snipe, Pied Wagtail
Meadow Pipit, Golden Plover and Little Owl.
