Frosty Rooks

This morning I awoke to a beautiful frost covered West Yorkshire, so before work I managed to squeeze in a couple of hours out with the camera and set off in search of something to photograph. Frosty Rooks were the order of the day and here are a few of the resulting shots.

Until next time, thanks for looking

  1. A couple of hours very well spent. I love the penultimate one of the two English chaps strolling to lunch!

  2. Hello friends,

Great information! Rooks are distinguished from similar members of the crow family by the bare grey-white skin around the base of the adult's bill in front of the eyes. Thanks a lot.....

  3. Nice shots of an under rated bird. You can feel the cold looking at it!
