Yellow Dung Fly

Here are two more shots of this Yellow Dung Fly, I have been
firmly bitten by the macro bug; it's so addictive and immensely
enjoyable.

Thanks for dropping by.

  1. Hi Andy

I really like the second one with the full-on stare. It shows you another world, doesn't it.

  2. Thanks Christian,

I totally agree re another world, when you are looking at these at 5x magnification in liveview on the 7D, it really is amazing.

  3. Hello,

    These are beautiful images!

I am a student of evolutionary biology in the United States. Is it ok if I use the first image in a powerpoint presentation for a scientific conference this year (Evolution meeting 2012)? It will be used only for a non-profit, educational purpose, and only once, if you wish so. I will duly credit you in the presentation.

Can you please contact me at sumit (at) live.unc.edu to let me know?

    Thanks!
    Sumit
